During the summer following the 2024-2025 season, I spearheaded a complete refresh of Ohio State’s digital and social media visual identity. Over the previous few years, our graphics had evolved in many directions, leading to inconsistency. My goal was to create a dynamic, adaptable, and cohesive visual system that would honor Ohio State’s identity—gritty, traditional, and iconic—while allowing for a wide range of graphic styles, from photo-based designs to more complex, layered graphics. This new visual toolkit became the foundation for all our sports’ digital content heading into the 2025-2026 season.
These graphics typically exist primarily on social media with a 4x5 aspect ratio, but often have to be resized for multiple digital applications spanning from digital billboards, facility marquees, website assets, and email headers.
